3 Suspects Sought In Bronx Home Invasion And Armed Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a Bronx home invasion involving three suspects.
Authorities said that the armed robbery occurred at 1705 Andrews Ave., in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx. Police said the men forced three victims to a back bedroom and tied them up. Two of the victims included a 10-year-old and 6-year-old child.
A 30-year-old male victim also sustained minor injuries trying to keep the suspects from entering the apartment, police said. The incident happened on Sept. 25 at around 2 p.m.
The suspects removed cell phones and jewelry along with an undermined amount of money before fleeing the scene.
The three suspects are described in the following way:
Suspect #1: M/H/30s, 5-foot-11 to 6-feet, dark complexion, medium to large build
Wearing: black baseball cap, black t-shirt, dark jeans.
Suspect #2: M/H/30-40 yrs, 5-10 to 6-feet, medium build, distinctively large ears.
Wearing: tan baseball cap, baby blue t-shirt, dark blue jeans.
Suspect #3: M/H/early 20s, 5-6 to 5-8, light complexion, thin build, black hair slicked back, goatee.
Wearing: black t-shirt, faded blue jeans.
Police have also release a surveillance video of the suspects.
