3 Injured When NJ TRANSIT Bus, Car Collide In Southern N.J.
MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Three people were injured Wednesday evening in a bus crash in Maple Shade, N.J.
Police said an NJ TRANSIT Access Link bus was on a ramp off Route 38 when it was hit from behind by a car around 6:15 p.m.
An NJ TRANSIT representative told CBS Philly the bus was rear-ended while coming off an access ramp from Route 38 to Kings Highway. The bus was pushed off the road and came to rest against a tree.
The representative says the other vehicle involved sustained significant body damage.
One driver and one passenger on the bus were taken to area hospitals, along the driver of the car.
Two of the victims were taken to Kennedy Health System Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, N.J., while a third was taken to Cooper University Health Care in Camden, N.J.
Their conditions were not immediately available.
