3 House Incumbents In Competitive Races In NJ
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Three Democratic incumbents are involved competitive races as New Jersey voters decide whether any of the state's 13 House seats will change hands.
The closest race appears to be in South Jersey's 3rd District. It features freshman Rep. John Adler against Republican Jon Runyan, a former Philadelphia Eagles lineman.
Another competitive race is in central New Jersey's 6th District, where veteran Democrat Frank Pallone faces a challenge from tea party candidate Anna Little.
In the 12th District, also in central New Jersey, investment firm founder Scott Sipprelle is trying to unseat six-term incumbent Democrat Rush Holt.
Eight of the Garden State's 13 House seats are currently held by Democrats. All of the incumbents are seeking re-election.
