3 Homeless Men Arrested For Fighting With Knife And Sticks At East Village Park, Police Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Three homeless men were arrested overnight after they were found fighting with a knife and sticks at a park in the East Village, police said Sunday.
The NYPD said they were responding to a call about a stabbing on East 10th Street near East River Park just before 11 p.m.
EMS had to save one of the men, after he jumped into the water to avoid being attacked again, police said.
All three men were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
