3 Critically Injured, 1 Seriously Injured In 2-Alarm Fire In East New York
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Four people were injured in a house fire in East New York, Brooklyn Wednesday.
The two-alarm fire broke out in a fourth-floor apartment at the Louis Pink Houses on Stanley Avenue, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported. The fire was contained to just the apartment.

The blaze began around 12:47 p.m. and firefighters were able to get it under control by 1:10 p.m., CBS 2 reported.
Three women were critically injured, one of which is wheelchair-bound. A teenage boy, who has asthma, was also seriously injured in the blaze.
Two of the women are in their 30s, while the wheelchair-bound woman is in her 50s, CBS 2 reported.
There was a lot of clutter in the apartment, and many animals, D'Auria reported. The fire department said at least four puppies died.
Fire marshals were on the scene trying to determine the exact cause of the fire.
The grandmother, who was home at the time the fire began, told D'Auria through a translator that she smelled smoke in the apartment and realized it was near one of the beds. She said she pulled the bed away from the wall and the electrical outlet behind it burst into flames.
