3 Arrested, Woman Wanted In Bronx Robbery, Kidnapping
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested three men, and were searching Sunday night for a woman, for allegedly forcing their way into a woman's apartment and going on to rob and kidnap her boyfriend.
Back on Sept. 2, the 49-year-old female victim was entering her apartment in the Eastchester section of the Bronx, when the three men and women forced their way inside and demanded money.
The suspects realized the woman did not have any money, so they assaulted her and forced her to call her boyfriend, a 48-year-old man, and make him come to the apartment.
The boyfriend arrived with the suspects waiting for him. They tied him up and assaulted him until he told them where he lived, then went with him to his own apartment where they stole jewelry, electronics and cash.
The suspects then stole the man's car, a 2011 Nissan Rouge, which police found a few days later, police said.
Police arrested the three male suspects on Nov. 21. Cole Trevor, 26, of the 0-99 block of Cottage Place in Mount Vernon; Dominique Jean-Phillipe, 29, of the 200 block of East 5th Street in Mount Vernon; and Jeremy Acevedo, 25, also of Mount Vernon, have all been charged in the incident, police said.
The female suspect, Lisa Hylton, 35, was still wanted Sunday night in connection to the incident. Police said she is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.
Anyone who can help police apprehend Hylton is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
