2 Arrested For Allegedly Kidnapping Woman Off The Street In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say two people have been arrested in connection with the abduction of a woman off a street in Brooklyn early Monday morning.
Steven Benoit, 25, and 19-year-old Jasmine Wilkins, were arrested Monday for allegedly kidnapping a 28-year-old woman.

Police say it happened around 2 a.m. while the victim was walking home.
Cops say Benoit and Wilkins pulled up to the victim in a black vehicle. After Beniot tried talking with the victim, police say he grabbed her, threw her into the back seat and took off.
Police say Benoit and Wilkins drove around to several locations and tried to force the victim into prostitution.
When the victim refused, police say she was beaten, which was captured on surveillance video at a hotel at Atlantic and Jamaica Avenue.
A few hours later, the victim escaped to a post office where Postal police contacted the NYPD.
Using video evidence, cops patrolling the area later stopped a car fitting the description of the suspects on Jackie Robinson Parkway and arrested Benoit and Wilkins.
Benoit is charged with kidnapping, robbery, assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and menacing.
Wilkins is charged with kidnapping and robbery.
