17-Year-Old Girl Killed In Newark Triple Shooting
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A teenager is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Newark.
Laniay Grifin, 17, of Brooklyn was killed Sunday after gunfire broke out in front of a store on South 14th Street around 9:30 p.m., prosecutors said.
Two other teens, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, were also shot, officials said. Their names and conditions have not been released.
Police are still investigating.
