14 Injured When Department Of Correction Bus Crashes Near Manhattan Bridge
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A Department of Correction bus crashed on the Manhattan side of the Manhattan Bridge Monday morning.
The bus from Rikers Island was headed to court in Manhattan when it slammed into the median at around 8:15 a.m., taking out several stone pillars on the side of the road.
The accident took place near Canal Street and the Bowery.
Fourteen people were hospitalized after the crash with minor injuries.
