14 Arrested In Drug Bust At Brooklyn Housing Project
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The arrest of 14 accused drug dealers came after a long-running investigation sparked by community complaints of gang violence and drug trafficking at Brooklyn's Farragut Houses.
Undercover police officers made over 100 drug buys, then seized three guns along with quantities of crack, cocaine, heroin and marijuana, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reported.

The city's Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan said the drug dealers have taken over several apartments in the housing project to stash their narcotics and meet customers.
Sales were also carried out openly in the lobbies of residential buildings, near a playground and inside local businesses, Cornell reported.
During the police raid, one suspected crack supplier tried to escape by jumping out of a second floor window only to land right in front of a cop posted outside.
