120 Win Inauguration Tickets From Rep. Maloney's Office
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- More than 6,000 people entered a lottery for tickets to President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in Washington Monday at the office of U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), and there were 120 winners.
As WCBS 880's Rich Lamb reported, the winners claimed their tickets Saturday at Maloney's Congressional office, at 1651 Third Ave. on the Upper East Side.
Sheila Jameson of the East Village said her African-American ancestors must be really excited that she will witness Obama's second inauguration.

"I never thought in my life time we'd have an African-American president. And to have this particular man who is not only African-American --he's a stellar individual," Jameson said. "So it's not just that he's African-American that means so much to me. It's who that person is also."
And how does Jameson herself feel about the opportunity?
"For me to be there at the inauguration is a dream come true," Jameson said.
Obama will be sworn in for his second term on Monday. The inauguration ceremony will be held Tuesday at the Mall in Washington, D.C.
