11/8 CBS2 Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good Saturday afternoon!
By now the sun is warming us up a bit from the cold start this morning; however, temps only peak in the mid and upper 40s for most locations. You may want to grab a hat, scarf, and gloves to go along with your jacket.
Clouds approach this evening with just the slightest chance of a sprinkle overnight - so don't cancel any Saturday night plans if you have 'em. If you are going out, though, dress warmly as temperatures will fall into the low 40s and upper 30s late tonight.
Sunday is shaping up to be a great fall day with warmer temps - many spots reaching the mid 50s in our area! Couple that with clearing skies and light breezes, and you have great outdoor weather. Things are looking perfect if you're going to see the Jets and Steelers at MetLife Stadium at 1PM.
We warm up even more Monday and Veterans Day with partly sunny skies both days and temps approaching 60 on Monday and nearing 65 on Veterans Day!
Check back later for an update on the return of the chill for the end of the week.
