10/31 CBS2 Evening Weather Update
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Hello -- I hope you're all having a fun and safe Halloween.
If you're headed out tonight, you might want to grab the small umbrella if you live near a coastal town or the five boroughs. Some light rain or drizzle could be a nuisance to your trick or treating.
Rain becomes a little steadier towards dawn. Saturday will feel like November, with a chilly wind and on-and-off showers. The rain does not look too heavy, but any rain will make it feel even worse outside.
On Sunday, we'll see the coldest air to start since last winter. Some clouds will linger too. Marathon runners are going to have a tough go.
But by mid-morning Sunday, clearing takes place and sun returns for all.
Monday is MUCH better -- full sun with highs in the upper 50s. On Tuesday, we're talking 60s.
Check back shortly to see if those temps keep climbing next week.
