10/19 CBS2 Monday Evening Weather Headlines

Cold is the word around here today.  We had some record cold to start this morning around here.

Bridgeport tied their record of 30° and Islip broke their previous record of 31° by two degrees down to 29°.  Some of the coldest air was, not surprisingly up in Sullivan County.  Jefferson, NY got down to a low of 16°.  We warmed up to 53° here in the city.  It was a brisk day but tonight will NOT be as cold.  We will drop into the 40s, but that's it.

Skies are clear overnight and clear tomorrow.  A few puffy white ones will pepper the skies but no worries for rain.  Check back in soon for details on our warm up!  Have a good one! G
