1010 WINS: Police Search For East Harlem Hit-And-Run Driver
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were searching for a hit-and-run driver in East Harlem, 1010 WINS reported.
Around 5 p.m., a man in his 20s was on a bicycle when he hit by a car at the corner of 104th Street and Lexington Avenue, police said.
The victim was believed to be a deliveryman from a local restaurant who was returning to work, 1010 WINS reported.
The victim as going south on Lexington Avenue when the white car struck his bicycle at 104th Street, police said. The victim suffered internal injuries.
The victim was rushed to NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said.
The offending driver fled the scene.
