YouTube Geek Week lesson on how to make a viral video

(CBS News)  People ask us here at The Feed, "How does something go viral?" Well, there's actually a solid formula towards making it happen (in most cases). And YouTube viral video guru Dave Days knows it well. He was the first to hop on the Chocolate Rain train after all, and came up with his own pop-punk take on it. So, if you want to learn how, then just watch the lesson above, posted by SoulPancake in honor of Geek Week. (Which is sure-to-go-viral itself.)

Did you learn a thing or two? Or did you just enjoy his revised lyrics set to Smash Mouth's smash-hit "All Star"? Either way, you have to admit that it's a pretty darn clever parody. Complete with some of your favorite Internet sensations, such as Mr. Chocolate Rain himself, Rebecca Black, who made Fridays (even more) famous, Courtney Pants, and many more. So, as Days asks, what is your favorite meme? Feel free to leave some comment love below with your personal picks.
