Young girl's drumming gets video remix by her uncle

(CBS News) One of my all-time favorite examples of slick editing being able to turn an amateur musician into a total pro was done by a young Norweigan editor by the name of Lasse Gjertsen (which you should really see if you haven't). And while he masterfully took the concept and applied it to himself in execution, one loving uncle and editor has decided to give the concept a go in order to help out his young niece with her performance. Watch her drum solo unfold in the video above.

The quick cuts of this young musician turned into a masterful drum solo performance was posted by Simon Panrucker who writes about the piece: 

All sounds from original footage. Took a long time to edit! Thanks to my nieces for being good sports, and my sister, brother-in-law and Mum and Dad for putting up with the noise.
