Wondering where to retire? Here's some help
Most baby boomers haven't really thought about where they want to live when they retire, according to a new study by Hartford Financial Services Group, an insurance company.
So AARP The Magazine has done some research for them, listing the most affordable and desirable retirement locations in the U.S. The magazine ranked the destinations by examining financial data on more than 350 cities across the country. The publication based its results not only on property- and sales-tax rates, median housing price, and cost of living, but also the tax rate on pensions and Social Security. Recreation, climate, and arts and culture were also considered.
