Wolves Give Scott Extension
The Minnesota Timberwolves signed Dennis Scott for the rest of the season, the team announced Saturday.
The 6-foot-8 guard and forward originally signed a 10-day contract on March 17. Terms of the contract were not released.
Scott has appeared in five games with the Wolves and started in two, averaging 11.4 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 22 points in Wednesday's 87-68 win at Boston.
Scott appeared in 15 games this season with the New York Knicks before being waived on Feb. 13. He was a first-round draft pick for Orlando in 1990.
