(CBS) - Microsoft Windows developers are descending on Anaheim, Calif. for BUILD, a new conference that will hopefully help developers build neat products for the world's most popular operating system.

While we wait for Tuesday's keynote address, attendees of the conference have been busy posting photos and videos from the event. There are a few videos showing the tablet running Windows 8 that have been set to private on YouTube, however we were able to snag this photo.

Here's a pic of a Samsung tablet still in its box. Michelle Hu uploaded the photo on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo Tuesday morning.

First look at Windows 8 is impressive step toward a tablet-focused user interface. The redesign might be an adjustment for traditional desktop users. App icons will be rectangular buttons that fill the screen.

Watch the event at CNET on Tuesday at 9 a.m. PST.
