Will Giuliana Rancic return to "Fashion Police"?
Giuliana Rancic isn't making any promises that she'll return to "Fashion Police" in the fall.
The E! Entertainment personality appeared on the "Today" show Monday to plug her new book, "Going Off Script."
And she also seemed to go off-script at the interview's conclusion, when host Savannah Guthrie asked if Rancic "will be there" when "Fashion Police" airs again in September.
Hedging, Rancic said only, "We'll see."
The show, formerly hosted by the late Joan Rivers, has recently been in turmoil with the abrupt departures of panelist Kelly Osbourne and new host Kathy Griffin.
Before that, Rancic took heat for a wisecrack about actress Zendaya's dreadlocks that some viewers, including the actress-singer, deemed racist.
But Rancic repeated her explanation that the joke was misinterpreted after editing removed the context.
Rancic, meanwhile, is plotting a move. She recently told People that she's moving to Chicago in August with her husband, Bill, and their 2-year-old son, Duke.
"I won't be in LA on set as much," she said. "But there's a lot of work in New York and Chicago too. I don't have to pick one or the other."
In 2013, Rancic told CBS News that her husband has been extremely supportive over the years -- since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011
"Bill was everything. My husband was everything throughout the process -- from getting diagnosed 'til today," she said. "And I don't know how I would have done it without him. I really don't...I always say not everyone has that support system. I can't even imagine having gone through breast cancer without having an incredible person by my side to help me through it."
