NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Don't expect "Bachelor" Brad Womack to make the same mistake twice.

Or at least that is what the reality TV star is hinting at in recent interviews as the new season is set to start.

The 38-year-old Texas bar owner, who angered many fans in 2007 when he rejected both finalists, Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas, says he can't divulge the outcome of the reality dating show's season.

But does hint things are good. He says he fell in love and is "a happy guy."

After his initial appearance on the ABC hit, Womack began seeing a therapist to work on what he describes as commitment-phobia.

When ABC called to see if he was interested in joining the show again, he was surprised.

Even with the opportunity for a do-over, Womack says he was prepared to walk away again if he didn't feel he found the right girl.

The bachelorettes vying for his affection reportedly were not told Womack would be the season's star, thus the slap he got from one contestant (seen in promos for the show) was totally spontaneous.

Will the most loathed "Bachelor" in history redeem himself? Watch tonight and tell us what you think.
