Who lost a wallaby? Pa. officials found one, seek owner
(CBS) CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. - You may have lost a wallet at some point, but have you ever lost a wallaby?
Someone in northwest Pennsylvania apparently has, and the state game commission is hoping to find the rightful owner of the missing marsupial that was captured in Crawford County, CBS Pittsburgh reported.
State authorities said the kangaroo-like creature was sighted on Wednesday, then tranquilized and taken to a licensed facility until its owner can be found.
So far, officials haven't had any luck figuring out where the animal came from.
Although the wallaby is native to Australia, Pennsylvania seems to be in the lead to become the unofficial wallaby capital of the United States...legally, or not.
