Who are Time magazine's most influential teens?
Time magazine is known for rounding up the top influential people in the world, but what about the leading teens?
The magazine recently chose its 25 most influential teenagers of 2014, and many stars made the list, including actor Jaden Smith, 16; singer Lorde, 17; actress Chloë Grace Moretz, 17; "Keeping up with the Kardashians" favorites Kylie Jenner, 17, and Kendall Jenner, 18; and singer Austin Mahone, 18.
"Teens today might have a mixed reputation, but there's no denying their influence. They command millions of fans on Twitter and Vine, start companies with funds they raised on Kickstarter, steal scenes on TV's most popular shows, lead protests with global ramifications, and even -- as of Friday -- win Nobel Peace Prizes," the magazine notes.
This leading group of celebrity teenagers definitely made some waves this year.
New Zealand singer Lorde kicked off 2015 with Grammy Award wins and is curating the soundtrack for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1." Not to mention, she also contributed a new song to the film.
Will Smith's son, Jaden, doesn't seem like he'll move from the spotlight anytime soon. Movies keep on coming (there's expected to be a new "Karate Kid 2") , and his eye-catching tweets continue to gain followers. At just 16, he already has more than 5.3 million followers.
Mahone, meanwhile, continues to keep the music industry buzzing -- and he already has some wise advice for fellow artists, telling CBS News in May, "I would say just keep doing what you love. Keep focused on what it is you want...and don't pay attention to other people around you who want to bring you down. Then you'll go very far. Keep your head up high."
