- When decompressing a 900MB file, the Lion took a mere 1 second longer.
- When duplicating a 900MB file, the two operating systems tied.
- When encoding a movie in Quicktime X, Snow Leopard was 3 seconds faster.
- When it came to launching nine applications, Snow Leopard was marginally faster - over 20 seconds.
- When opening 10 tabs in Safari, Lion wins by 2 seconds.
