What to expect from Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes
(CBS) British comedian Ricky Gervais managed to insult so many A-list stars when he hosted the Golden Globes last January that few people thought he'd be invited back.
But now it's 2012, with Gervais on tap to be host for a third consecutive year and he's promised more of the same.
Watch out, George Clooney, Michelle Williams and Brad Pitt.

In an interview this week on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Gervais, who last year insulted Johnny Depp, Robert Downey, Jr. and Angelina Jolie, among others, says he didn't do anything wrong."I don't think I was nasty," he said " If they saw my stand-up, their heads would explode."
Nevetheless, Gervais did joke about the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which sponsors the Golden Globes and whose president clearly was not amused, and ended the show by declaring, "Thank you to God for making me an atheist."
Now, in various tweets and interviews in advance of Sunday's televised awards ceremony, Gervais promises to be just as outrageous and points out that hosting the Golden Globes is just a sideline for him and not a career.
"I do the Golden Globes like some people play golf on a Saturday," he told the New York Times. "It's fun, but it can't affect me because come Monday morning, I'll be writing a new stand-up show or I'll be writing a new TV show or I'll be writing a new film. So it's not exactly bravery."
He also says he doesn't care whom he offends.
"It wasn't a room full of wounded soldiers," he told DeGeneres about last year's Golden Globes audience. "These are the richest most privileged people in the world."
