Watch: Trailer for "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story"
The first trailer for the upcoming "Saved by the Bell" Lifetime film is out, and it certainly has us reminiscing about Screech, Zack, Slater and the rest of the gang at Bayside High.
On Sept. 1, the network will premiere "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story," which will explore the lives of the actors who starred in the hit TV series, which ran from 1989-1993 on NBC and lives on in reruns.
From the clothes and the hair styles, the new actors definitely share somewhat of a resemblance to the ones we know and love from the teen comedy.
According to Lifetime, the film "delves into the experiences of six unknown young actors placed into the Hollywood spotlight, exposing the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen."
