Watch: Justin Timberlake shows off moves in "Take Back the Night" video

Justin Timberlake's new video for "Take Back the Night" isn't necessarily groundbreaking, but it does feature some classic JT dance moves and a few great New York City street and nightlife shots.

In the clip, released Tuesday, Timberlake is seen dancing outside a Chinatown storefront before having a dance-off with a kid on the street. The scene then shifts to a performance at Yankee Stadium before moving to a nightclub.

Before Tuesday's video premiere, fans were invited to participate in an interactive campaign that allowed them to take a virtual journey through New York City, where they learned facts about Timberlake's new video.

"Take Back the Night" will appear on the former *NSYNC member's upcoming album, "The 20/20 Experience -- 2 of 2," due out Sept. 30. It follows Timberlake's third solo effort, "The 20/20 Experience," released in March.

"I originally recorded a massive amount of material and decided on the 20 tracks that I wanted on the album over a year ago," Timberlake said in a statement about the upcoming album. "But, when I was mixing and going through all of the songs there were so many that I loved -- I couldn't resist...I had to throw in something extra on the second half."

Timberlake is in the runningfor six nominations at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
