Watch: Beyonce releases touching tribute to Detroit
Last month, Beyonce sang a touching tribute to Detroit in concert -- and now an official video of the performance has hit the Web.
Beyonce sang Sam Cooke's 1965 classic "A Change is Gonna Come" in Auburn Hills, Mich., on July 20, just two days after Detroit filed for bankruptcy.
That performance is now part of the newly-released clip in which the R&B pop star says, "This song is dedicated to Detroit." The black-and-white video includes concert footage mixed with audience shots, scenes from Detroit and images of local artists, including Jack White, Aretha Franklin and Eminem.
The Detroit visit was just one of many stops on Beyonce's "Mrs. Carter World Tour."
