Video catches baby elephant rescue in Sri Lanka
Video captured the rescue of a baby elephant caught in a storm drain in Sri Lanka.
The juvenile pachyderm got caught in a drain in Sri Lanka's southern port city of Hambantota, a region where hundreds of wild elephants roam freely, according to Reuters.
Port workers teamed up with animal rescue officials to break the drain open and free the elephant.
Nobody's sure how it got in there in the first place. The animal is believed to have suffered a broken leg, but is recovering, according to multiple reports.
