Video: Beaten Giants fan gives first TV interview

Nearly nine months after being brutally beaten outside Dodger Stadium, Bryan Stow has given his first TV interview since coming out of a coma.

In a clip from NBC's Rock Center, the San Francisco Giants fan speaks with the network's chief medical editor Dr. Nancy Snyderman. In the brief excerpt aired on NBC Bay Area, Stow is seen at an undisclosed San Jose rehab center where he has been since October.

Snyderman introduces herself to Stow, who asks, "How are you?"

When told that she is doing "very well," Stow replies: "That's good."

"You're just as handsome as your sisters said you are," the doctor jokes.

Last month, Stow's family posted a photo (at left) of a wheelchair-bound Stow with family members taken Thanksgiving Day

Two men, 29-year-old Louie Sanchez and 30-year-old Marvin Norwood, have been charged in the attack. Both have pleaded not guilty.
