Two dead, off-duty officer tased in Georgia shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Two people are dead and an off-duty police officer has been arrested after a shooting in Stone Mountain, Georgia, reports CBS affiliate WGCL.

Police in DeKalb County say the two people were killed during a drive-by shooting just after midnight, according to the station. One man died at the scene, and the other died after being transported to an area hospital. One of the men reportedly killed has been identified as 23-year-old Marvin Lewis Jr.

According to police, the off-duty officer, identified by neighbors as Greg Morris, came to see if his son was involved in the shooting, reports the station. A confrontation began, and Morris was tased by police, according to WGCL. He was reportedly arrested and is being charged with obstruction of officers and battery.

According to the station, police do not have any suspects in custody and a description of those suspects was not immediately available.
