Twitter's top tweets of 2012
Twitter released its year in review Tuesday. Not surprisingly, politics dominated the "Twittersphere" in 2012.
The top hashtags during the political season included: #tcot, #teaparty #gop, #romney, mitt Romney, #dnc2012, #charlotte, #gop2012, #rnc and #obama2012.

Twitter posted its "Golden tweets" of 2012, including two most re-tweeted posts: President Obama's "Four more years" and Justin Bieber's "RIP Avalanna. i love you (sic)" tweets.
Some of the biggest conversations of the year were dubbed "Pulse of the planet," and included the Summer Olympics, U.S. elections, Super Bowl and Superstorm Sandy.
Twitter's year in review also included the deepest tweet, which was sent by James Cameron from the bottom of the ocean and popular hashtags, like #Sandy, #election2012 and #London2012.
