Track Frequent Flyer Miles, Avoid Expired Rewards
I have a smattering of frequent flyer accounts, hotel reward programs, rental car preferred accounts, and other travel-related programs -- and I keep track of them about as well as zebras can scuba dive (that's not very well). What I've needed for years is a good way to track and manage everything in one place. Finally, I've found one.
AwardWallet is a Web site that manages all manner of travel programs in one place for you. It handles airline, hotel, rental car, dining, and shopping programs -- basically, if there's some sort of reward program, AwardWallet probably can track it for you.
The list of supported programs is extensive, to say the least, with about 75 airlines, two dozen hotels, and a dozen rental car companies, to name a few.
The site is smart, too. Not only does it let you track all your awards and reward points in one place, but the site in many cases links you directly to the redemption site and tries to warn you about expiring points. This cool little site also has a mobile-optimized site (though no iPhone app).
If you travel a lot and have to juggle a slew of reward programs, AwardWallet could be a lifesaver. [via The Consumerist]
