Tom Sizemore arrested on warrant by LAPD
LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) Actor Tom Sizemore was back in LAPD custody today but only briefly.
Los Angeles Police say they arrested the 49-year-old Sizemore Tuesday on an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor battery.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department website says Sizemore has posted $26,000 bail and has been released.
A phone message left for his agent, Cynthia Booth, was not immediately returned.
Sizemore, who appeared in "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan," has had a string of drug-related arrests in recent years. He was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
