Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman head into "Oblivion"
Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman are teaming up to save the world, or what's left of it, in the new apocalyptic action flick, "Oblivion."
Cruisestars as Jack Harper, a repo man sent to scavenge resources on an abandoned, war-ravaged Earth. Harper soon discovers that there's a group of humans left behind on the planet, led by a character played by Morgan Freeman.
The new film comes from Joseph Kosinski, the writer/director behind "Tron: Legacy."
"Oblivion" is the only major Hollywood release landing in theaters this weekend, meaning Cruise'slatest movie shouldn't have a problem reaching the top of the box office in its first week of release.
