Tip, Tip, Hooray

Tipper Gore knows Al Best. Monday, she talked politics, policy, and life on the CBS News Early Show.

"He was very specific plans about what he wants to do for working class people ... he needs to be relaxed and talk about what plans he has."

"His strong suit is his experience. He has listened to people very clearly."

"I think he knows a grreat deal about a lot of subject, I don't think he has a weak spot," though she did say Gore needs to be clear when he address the nation during the debates.

"There are two very likeable people who are offering themselves," she said.

On the now-legenday kiss, Tipper said: "To tell you the truth, the kiss was very spontaneous. ... It was a high-point in our lives for us. I'm surprised at all the conversation, and I have to tell you, at this point I'm ready for another one."

Mrs. Gore was born Mary Elizabeth Aitcheson on Aug. 19, 1948. She is 52. She and Al Gore were maried 30 years ago, in 1970.
