Tim Tebow prays with passengers during medical emergency on flight
Tim Tebow has never been shy about his faith, so it's no surprise that the former Florida Gator quarterback led passengers in prayer when a man on his flight started suffering from a medical emergency on Sunday.
Another passenger on the Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Phoenix wrote an account on Facebook of what happened. Richard Gotti wrote that the unconscious man, who appeared to be suffering from heart problems, was given CPR and shocks from an automated defibrillator when people on the flight began to pray for more than an hour.
"No one gave up," wrote Gotti. "I observed people praying and lifting this man up to the Lord in a way that I've never seen before. The crew of Delta Airlines were amazing. They acted in a fast and professional manner!"
Gotti said that then, he saw Tebow walk down the aisle to speak with the ill man's family.
"He met with the family as they cried on his shoulder!" wrote Gotti. "I watched Tim pray with the entire section of the plane for this man. He made a stand for God in a difficult situation. The plane landed in Phoenix and that was the first time they got a pulse back!"
