"Thor: The Dark World" debuts new poster

Chris Hemsworth is front and center in a new poster released Friday for "Thor: The Dark World."

The actor is reprising his role as the Marvel superhero for the sequel, which follows his roles in 2011's "Thor" and last year's "The Avengers."

Hemsworth is seen clutching Thor's hammer as lightning strikes it and snow swirls around him.

If this isn't enough of a sneak peek for fans, they'll be happy to know a teaser trailer is set to debut this Tuesday.

"Thor: The Dark World" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 8, 2013.
