Terror in Brussels
Two large explosions, at least one of them reportedly caused by suicide bomber, tore through the departure hall at the main airport in the Belgian capital Tuesday morning. About an hour later, another blast rocked a subway station near the U.S. Embassy in Brussels. At least 25 people have been killed.
The race
Voters head to the polls in Arizona, Utah, and Idaho (Democrats only). Tonight's contests may be less dramatic than the Ohio and Florida contests last week, but they're still expected to provide some insight into the formidability of Donald Trump's and Hillary Clinton's leads.
SCOTUS pick
Most Americans say the Senate should vote on President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland. Senate Republican leaders say they won't hold hearings on anyone nominated by Mr. Obama because they want to wait for the next president. The nation's opinion appears divided along party lines.
Rethinking drinking
Many studies have have touted the health benefits of moderate drinking, but new research suggests it might be down largely to wishful thinking. Scientists analyzed dozens of previous studies and identified flaws that they say skewed the results, making alcohol look more beneficial than it really is.
