Numbers game

Fragile truce
Amid urgent calls for international discussions over alleged violations of the Syria truce Monday morning, the temporary cease-fire appeared still to be largely intact more than two days after it went into effect. The rare calm in some areas is giving Syrian's reason to hope.
Undocumented owners
One in three of the country's undocumented families own a home, and collectively they contribute billions of dollars every year in state and federal taxes. California officials are investigating an alleged "fight club" on the campus of a high school. Several videos surfaced last week, prompting complaints from parents. The district superintendent says she only learned about the fights recently, but acknowledges it may have been going on for years.
