Eye Opener: Sanders changes his tone on Clinton 02:00

Gloves off

What was for months a relatively cordial race for the Democratic nomination has now taken a nasty turn, with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders laying into each other with vicious attacks. What's behind the change in tone, and how long might it last?

Tit-for-tat

Senator Bernie Sanders defended some of his recent comments about Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in an interview with "CBS This Morning," insisting he wasn't interested in a get-even duel, but adding that he feels compelled to defend himselfagainst attacks.

Common cause

As the Republican primary race shifts to New York, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is co-sponsoring a bill with the state's prominent Democratic senator Chuck Schumer. It's legislation few would likely argue against, and Cruz's motives in backing it likely go beyond his interest in stolen art and justice.

Unscripted

A picture is worth a thousand words, and for image-conscious politicians trailing packs of press photographers, a fateful snap can be lurking around any corner. Hillary Clinton's New York City subway ride didn't go quite to plan, but she's not the only candidate who's made a spectacle of voter outreach.

"Joy of love"

Many people were hoping Pope Francis would today present radical changes to the Catholic Church's teachings about contentious issues like divorce and same-sex unions. While his latest broad message addresses those issues and many more, he may leave some people disappointed.

Vaunted rockers

A diverse lineup of influential musicians will be inducted tonight into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Artists representing punk rock to gangster rap will all be recognized by the music industry. They're vastly different characters with songs you know by heart, and they have more in common than you might think.
