This BET Awards ad trolls the Billboard Music Awards tribute to Prince
Madonna might have thought her Prince tribute was an "amazing moment," but BET thinks audiences deserve better.
The Material Girl closed out Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards with a tribute to the late "Purple Rain" artist that included a duet with Stevie Wonder. The crowd in attendance seemed to love it, but not everyone was moved.
Not long after the performance aired, the folks behind the BET Music Awards -- which air June 26 -- had a brand-new ad online with a winking reference to the tribute. "Yeah, we saw that," the text read. "Don't worry. We got you."
