"The X Factor": Four acts sent home

After taking on the first live show of the season on Wednesday, the hosts, judges and Top 16 singers of "The X Factor" returned Thursday for the results show.

Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid were each able to save two of the acts on their teams, based on Wednesday's performances.

The remaining two acts then took the stage for a sing-off, with one moving on to the Top 12 and the other sent home.

Here are the four that were eliminated:

Demi Lovato's Young Adults: Willie Jones

L.A. Reid's Over-25s: David Correy

Britney Spears' Teens: Diamond White

Simon Cowell's Groups: Sister C
