The Wedding Planner: Royal wedding souvenirs out of control

(CBS) CBS News royals contributor Victoria Arbiter, reporting from London, will be giving CBSNews.com readers daily updates on plans for the April 29 royal wedding.

I really thought I'd seen everything in terms of royal wedding souvenirs, including knit-your-own-royal-family for the crafty, Will and Kate vomit bags for the sickly, and royal wedding condoms for the frisky.

That is, until today, when GE announced its special edition American-style royal wedding fridge.

Methinks you might just have a little too much change lying around if you decide to pick up one of these side-by-sides with the beaming faces of the happy couple, but then I'm still reeling from the private sale of Middleton's barely-there see-through dress, which just sold at auction for a cool $104,000.

I think I might stick to my "KaTEA & William" tea bags and official commemorative mug, but a friend of mine is very keen to pick up the fridge. He said he's going to use his as a port-a-loo. It goes to show there's a souvenir for everyone, even if you do think it's all a lot of fuss and nonsense.
