The Feed's Friday Music Round-Up: Drop it like it's hot edition

(CBS News) I swear, sometimes there's not enough time in the world to get everything done. And while that has definitely been true for your blogger here this week, there's one thing I'm not going to let fall through the cracks: The Feed's Friday Music Round-Up! So seeing as I've been on a slow-motion kick of late, it's only fitting that our first item would incorporate the effect. Click play to watch Vampire Weekend's red-hot music video for their song "Diane Young" above.

I swear, that music video is on fire! (Literally.Vampire Weekend, a band I've loved for years now, actually dropped two new music videos this week, but I had to make the very tough editorial call on which one to feature, and I personally think I chose well. If you're interested, though, do feel free to check out their other (also excellent) music video for the song "Step" by clicking here.

Moving right along, like many people (cough, the entire music-loving world, cough), I love Adele. But I've become obsessed this past week with a harder-edged cover of her song "Skyfall" from the band Our Last Night. So take a listen above to hopefully start sharing in my obsession.

For our focus on creative visuals and excellent auditory, we're featuring a work that simultaneously blends animation and reality into, well... pure awesome! With sultry vocals and an old-made-new style of sound to match, I think you're seriously going to dig the music video for Caro Emerald's song "Tangled Up" below directed by Videodrome. It's totally an instant classic!

And finally, we started this post off hot, and that's exactly how we're going to end it. Well, sort of with a twist. We've got a wacky, wild and "fully-loaded" video of a Russian taking on Snowmen at the bottom with some killer music by Scott & Brendo to accompany that action. Who will win this "Cold War" (Like what I did there?) between well-known, mortal enemies? Watch to find out!

And with that, I hope you all have a wonderful upcoming weekend, and make sure to keep coming back to The Feed for all your viral (and music) video needs!
