The Feed: Wrap up of the week's best viral videos
(CBS News) "Fall is here. Here the yell. Back to school, ring the bell." Those are the poignant opening lyrics to the amazing White Stripes song "We're going to be friends." They're also quite relevant to this weekly blog post because, on Sept. 22nd at 4:44pm EDT, summer officially became fall. And, trust me, we are going to be friends after you watch our wrap up of the week's best viral videos.
It begins with this stunning, head-spinning routine from six-year-old dance-floor-phenom B-girl Terra. Talk about a girl with a bright future.
After that, Bandit the dog takes center stage. He kept escaping from the kitchen, and his owner couldn't how Bandit was doing it. So, he set up this laptop to try and figure it out. And, what he captured is something truly extraordinary.
Then, from dogs to cats. There's one feline who's the puuuurrrrfect addition to table tennis. This kitten might be the best thing to hit a ping pong ball since Forrest Gump.
This new offering from YouTube artists-slash-science whizzes, AsapSCIENCE, shows the mysterious balancing act that is sleep.
And, last but certainly not least, is one of my personal favorite videos to come around in a long time. This compilation of Vine videos by the now YouTube famous "BatDad." I could watch these all day. Apparently, I'm not alone. In less than a week, this video has racked up over 5 and a half million views.
