"The Erica Hill Experiment" kicks off
Every day on "The Early Show" we bring you the latest medical and health information and trust that information can lead to a better informed and better you. But the fact is, a lot of what we're supposed to be doing to live a healthier and more fulfilling life can be pretty hard to cram into the average day. So "The Early Show" challenged co-anchor Erica Hill to see if she could do it. "The Early Show" will follow her progress over the next six weeks in a series called "The Erica Hill Experiment."
Special Section: "The Erica Hill Experiment"Check out Hill's first crack at living up to the expectations of a healthy life and see how the experts involved in the project, CBS News Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton, Amanda Baten, a clinical and nutritional psychologist, and Sidney Wilson, Hill's personal trainer for the experiment, appraised Hill's current physical - and discussed what needs to happen in the next six weeks.
Also: special thanks go out to Chelsea Piers and New York Health & Racquet Club, where Hill is training for the duration of the challenge.
