The Drive: Michele Bachmann, Jon Huntsman rising
We're out with the latest installment of "The Drive," in which I discuss who's up and who's down in the GOP presidential nomination fight.
In the wake of the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, the field has (for the moment, anyway) separated into two tiers. The first is led by frontrunner Mitt Romney, with buzzed about candidates Jon Huntsman (who formally announced his campaign this week), Rep. Michele Bachmann and the as-yet-undeclared Texas Gov. Rick Perry not far behind.
The second tier - a few yards back - includes Tim Pawlenty, Herman Cain and Sarah Palin. And lagging behind that group is Newt Gingrich, who still shows no signs of turning around his disastrous campaign.
Check out the latest episode of the show -- with commentary on why the candidates sit where they do -- above.
