"The Beatles: Eight Days a Week" touring documentary trailer released
If you've always wanted to see the Beatles' historic performance at Shea Stadium, this is your chance.
"The Beatles: Eight Days a Week -- the Touring Years," a new documentary directed by Ron Howard, explores the Beatlemania phenomenon and shows the chaotic and unprecedented touring life of the Fab Four -- and it will include the entire 30-minute concert played at Shea Stadium in August 1965.
A year later -- 50 years ago -- the group gave up touring for good. The film focuses on the period from the early days in Liverpool to their last concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 1966, delving into their inner workings, how they made decisions, created their music and built their collective career together.
"The Beatles: Eight Days a Week -- the Touring Years" will be released in theaters September 15, 2016.
